candy aisle delinquent

So I had this long post composed in my head yesterday... things I didn't want to forget, like anything interesting that happened recently, the funky dreams I've been having, and general life status. And then the computer started freaking out again, and it's like all my thoughts that I'd been saving up were erased along with all the viruses I'd just wiped. Attempt to type, and nada. Zilch. Like I just forgot the last few days. This does not bode well for me if I'm already having these senior moments...

Come to think of it, I do remember being in Target last weekend, strolling down the aisles when I spotted the hollow milk chocolate snowman. Now I'm the type of person who walks through the store and has to poke the shit out of the Peeps at Easter, so naturally I stopped and stared for a moment. I glance over at Em and see her already looking at me, two steps ahead of me. She looks at the candy, looks back to me, mouthing the word 'no'. I didn't mean to. Well, I meant to grab it, I just didn't mean for it to explode in my hand. Chocolate shrapnel flying, Em doubles over laughing, grabs my hand and drags me out of the aisle before anyone sees. ... It's me. I am why you can't have nice things.

Have to go to the parent's house tomorrow for Thanksgiving. Actually, since they're having the floors redone we're going over to my aunt's house to eat. So I'm bringing Ember over to her place so she can see the rest of my dad's side of family act afool. Sorry in advance, babe.
